Newsay Kidz ("we", "our", "us") respects the privacy of children, families, and all users of our application ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in compliance with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable child privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Our App is directed to children under 13, as well as families and older learners. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all users.
We designed the App to minimize the collection of personal data, especially from children.
We do not collect personal identifiers such as:
- Child's full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts
- Photos from children
We may collect limited, non-identifiable information solely to improve performance and stability:
- Device type
- Crash logs
- Aggregated usage statistics
If third-party SDKs (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, crash reporting) are integrated, they are configured in child-directed mode to comply with Families Policy. No personalized ads or behavioral tracking are enabled for children.
We do not collect, use, or share precise or approximate location data from children. The App does not request location permissions (GPS or network-based), and we do not infer a child's location from IP addresses for child-directed features.
- Provide and improve educational features of the App
- Ensure safe operation, diagnose issues, and fix errors
- Analyze anonymous usage patterns to enhance user experience
We do not use children's information for targeted advertising or profiling.
- No personalized ads are displayed to children
- Any ads shown are contextual and suitable for a general audience
- We do not allow interest-based advertising or remarketing targeted at children
We do not sell or share children's personal information with third parties. Limited non-personal technical data may be shared with trusted service providers strictly for analytics, crash reporting, or App functionality, under appropriate safeguards.
Parents and guardians may:
- Review the type of information we may have collected about their child
- Request deletion of any child-related data
- Contact us regarding our data handling practices
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App, including encryption and secure storage practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will notify users by updating the effective date above and, where necessary, providing additional notice within the App.
Users (or parents/guardians on behalf of a child) can delete an account at any time through the App.
- Method: Go to My Page > Account Management > Delete Account and click the Delete Account button.
- Once confirmed, all account information is deleted immediately and cannot be restored.
- Please note: Payment-related transaction records are retained for up to 6 months as required for financial, accounting, and legal compliance purposes. These records are not used for any other purpose and are automatically deleted after the retention period.
